This page is my attempt to research into the magazines/serials which distribute manga in Japan, as well as publishers which compile those titles into tankoubon.

Magazines are sorted by demographics (age and gender); included here are links to the magazines’ websites and some example titles

About the demographics

• Kodomo (子供): Child/youth 🧒🎈, usually below 10, also appropriate for families 👩‍👶‍👦
• Shounen (少年**)**: Young/teen males 👦, usually 10-16 or even 20 or thereabouts
• Shoujo (少女**)**: Young/teen females 👧, usually 10-16ish or even 20
• Seinen (青年**)**: Adults/older teens 🧍‍♂️, with an emphasis on adult males, usually 16+
• Josei (女性**)**: Adults/older teens 🧍‍♀️, with an emphasis on adult females, usually 16+
